XR Innovation Challenges
Three regional challenges for developers to incubate innovative small business training solutions.
About the Innovation Challenges
The growth of extended reality (XR) and immersive learning technologies is rapidly reshaping the future of learning and work. Solutions are most often applicable and accessible to larger enterprises, yet small business owners face unique challenges, and solutions should also be tailored to their needs. Jobs for the Future (JFF) is passionate about ensuring that all voices have the chance to contribute to the conversation on XR development, deployment, and iteration.
To make this a reality, JFFLabs has developed three XR Innovation Challenges. The XR Innovation Challenges are a series of community events that showcase the capability of XR technology to create powerful education and workforce solutions for small business owners.
The challenges will create a space for XR developers to partner with entrepreneurs and community advocates to discover the next big idea in XR technology.
The challenges will take place in three regions in the United States and will be co-created with local stakeholders to solve challenges specific to small businesses in their regions.
Competitors will have support from a coaching panel as they participate in design sprints and pitches. Solutions should aim to introduce new ideas to the XR ecosystem and further small business goals, such as supporting employees to upskill and businesses to operate more efficiently and effectively.
The Innovation Challenges, sponsored by Meta and executed by JFF together with regional partners, will support relevant application of XR to specific community contexts. Apply today to compete.
