Overview

AI is rapidly reshaping learning and work, and workforce and education organizations are trying to determine how best to adapt and respond. Jobs for the Future (JFF)’s Center for Artificial Intelligence & the Future of Work’s research on this topic shows how these organizations are responding to and reimagining how they prepare learners for quality jobs and economic advancement in the face of an AI-powered world.  These “early movers” are leading the field in testing AI-powered solutions, incorporating durable skills training into their programming, and beginning to adapt their curriculum to include AI literacy and adapt to changes in skill demands from employers.

Jobs for the Future (JFF) is launching a new early-mover community of practice called the AI Transformation Pioneer Lab to support workforce training organizations and higher education institutions that are ahead of the curve in embedding AI skills into their curricula and preparing their students for AI-enabled careers.

Key Benefits of Participation

  • Peer networking and collaboration opportunities with other education and workforce development organizations on the cutting edge of AI integration and adaptation, from curriculum to technology testing and implementation.
  • Inclusion in field-leading publications such as the AI Transformation Action Guide and knowledge-sharing events.
  • Access to our community’s research, tools, and AI integration and adaptation expertise.
  • A $5,000 stipend to assist with institutional capacity-building.

We anticipate Pioneer Lab participants committing to an approximately one-hour per month time commitment for six months beginning in May. The Pioneer Lab will culminate in a two-day in-person summit, with JFF paying for travel and lodging expenses.
